Turgut Ozal College is supporting the participation of talented high school students at the 29 Balkan Olympics in Mathematics held in Antalya, Turkey, between 26 April and 2 May, 2012.
Our high schools students team continued the tradition of winning awards at the regional and international contests. At the 29th Balkan Olympiad in Mathematics, in competition of 28 contestants, Genti GJIKA won the honorary mention. Florida Ahmetaj was also very close to be awraded as HM.
Erjona Topalli from Mehmet Akif Girls College also win BRONZE medal.
This year's Balkan Olympiad in Mathematics joint our students with students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Republic of Monte Negro, Cyprus and Turkey. Also guest countries Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, France, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and United Kingdom.
